Werner, Juk, Baudelio & Cia. is a Mexican Intellectual Property management organization incorporated in 1999, though some of us have over 30 years experience in the field of intellectual property. We deal with trademark and patent registration, renewals and disputes for many customers.
Almost 100% of the patent applications that we present are for foreign applicants, and we are accustomed to dealing with foreign patent counsel in charge of the worldwide prosecution of these patent applications. We understand what the expectation of foreign counsel is in terms of service and we also understand the Mexican culture, which allows us to maneuver within it to meet the needs of the applicant. This provides a sense of familiarity to you, and it is up to us to buffer any culture shock to the extent that this is possible, so that the experience of dealing with a foreign agent does not feel alien.
We are a team of dedicated professionals with a unique combination of partners, from lawyers to Ph.D.’s, providing a combined legal and technical expertise not commonly found even in larger firms and some corporations. Our legal expertise and technical support give us the wherewithal to prepare, file, prosecute and maintain patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, slogans, trade names and copyrights, as well as to handle related litigation.
Our main office is located in Cuernavaca, the capital of Morelos, and only 40 minutes from Mexico City. Nestled in a valley marked by ravines, Cuernavaca has been called the City of Eternal Spring. We handle all affairs from our main office, and Mexico City and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property are always only a step away.
